SDLC Offering Eclipse Micropen Services

Surgical Dermatology & Laser Center is pleased to announce that we will begin offering a wide range of Eclipse Micropen services to our patients.

The Eclipse MicroPen is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to naturally produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process after treatment results in improved appearance of softer wrinkles. Automated micro-needling also creates superficial micro-channels which can be used with topical gels, creams and serums to help improve the appearance of the epidermal layer of the skin.

"As the MicroPen™ is applied to the skin, hundreds of superficial micro-channels are created every few seconds.  As a result, new collagen and elastin produce softer, firmer skin and can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars and textural issues."  By utilizing Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT), we can help repair a variety of skin conditions and also allow topical treatments to more effectively and evenly penetrate the skin.
